My Starbucks Rewards™

Here’s how My Starbucks Rewards™ works: you’ll earn 1 Star every time you pay with your registered Starbucks Card or the Starbucks mobile app at a participating store or at StarbucksStore.ca. As you collect Stars, you move up to bigger benefits. There are three reward levels.

Welcome

Use your card once, earn your first reward. Sweet!

Something to Drink or Eat On Your Birthday

Get a little extra birthday love with a free drink or food reward on your big day. Your reward will be loaded right onto your registered Starbucks Card. To maintain the Welcome Level, you must earn at least one new Star each year during the 12 month period following your enrollment date.
How do I get it?

To qualify you must register a Starbucks Card 30 days before your birthday.  We’ll send you an email a few days before your birthday reminding you of your reward. Just go to a participating Starbucks, tell the barista you have a free reward, then swipe your Card or scan your mobile app.  It’s that easy!  Just be sure to redeem your reward before it expires!

To continue receiving your birthday reward each year, you must earn at least one Star during the 12 month period following your enrollment date. 

Green

Five Stars puts you at Green. Besides your free birthday drink or food reward, you also earn:

Free Refills in the Store

We want you to feel at home when you’re at Starbucks. Paying with your registered Starbucks Card gets you brewed and iced coffee and tea refills at no charge during your visit at a participating store.

You must use a registered Starbucks Card to make your purchase and then present your Card for a refill during that same visit.

To maintain the Green Level, you must earn at least five new Stars each year during the 12 month period following the date you reached Green Level.

Gold

Collect 30 Stars within 12 months and you’re Gold.  Once you reach Gold, keep those benefits for another 12 months by earning another 30 Stars.  With Gold, you get all the Welcome and Green benefits plus:

Use your Starbucks Card 12 times and the next one’s on us. Your reward will be loaded right onto your registered Starbucks Card.
Here’s what you can enjoy.

Use your free reward to redeem any handcrafted beverage or any food item of your choice. All food items in participating stores are eligible for the free reward, with the exception of multipacks, trays, and whole bakery loaves.

Personalized Gold Card

Your barista will know you’re somebody special when you hand over your Gold Card.

Be sure to opt in to get special offers and coupons via mail, email or text message.  Go to www.starbucks.ca/account to opt-in.

Redeeming digital rewards is simple:

1. Visit any participating Starbucks store.
2. Tell the barista you have a Free Reward (that way you get to choose when you redeem your reward).
3. Present your registered Starbucks Card (or scan your registered Starbucks Card on the Starbucks mobile app).
